Jordan Graham Hospitalized After Serious Road Traffic Accident

Former Birmingham City winger Jordan Graham is in hospital receiving specialist treatment after what has been described as a serious road traffic accident.

The 31-year-old’s condition was confirmed in a statement issued by the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) on behalf of his family, who said he is under the care of medical experts following the incident earlier this month.

His relatives stressed their gratitude for the support and the treatment he is receiving, while asking for space as they stay by his side.

“His family are incredibly grateful for the care he is receiving,” the statement said. “They respectfully ask for privacy and that people refrain from contacting them directly while they focus entirely on Jordan and his recovery. Further information will only be provided when appropriate.”

Graham’s career has taken him across the English game. An Aston Villa academy graduate, he broke through at Wolves, making 17 appearances for the club and taking in loan spells with Ipswich Town, Bradford City, Oxford United and Fulham.

He later rebuilt his career with Gillingham before earning a move to Birmingham City, where he featured 49 times in the Championship between 2021 and 2023. Across all competitions and clubs, he has made 188 senior appearances. He has been without a club since leaving Leyton Orient in 2025.

Messages of support have begun to flow in from former sides.

Gillingham said in a statement: “Everyone at the club is thinking of Jordan and his family at this time. We wish him a full and swift recovery.”

Leyton Orient added a simple, pointed message: “We’re all with you JG.”

From academy prospect to seasoned winger, Graham has been a familiar figure up and down the leagues. Now the football world waits, hoping his next battle is one he wins far from the pitch.
