Tottenham's Loan Moves: Sarr to Juventus, Moore to Koln

Tottenham have agreed a deal with Juventus for Pape Matar Sarr to leave on loan, with an option for the Italian giants to make the move permanent for £25.7million at the end of the season.

The midfielder’s exit is part of a late-window reshuffle at Spurs, who are trimming the squad while still hunting attacking reinforcements before the deadline.

Mikey Moore is set to head to the Bundesliga, with Tottenham giving the go-ahead for his loan move to Koln to be finalised. Left-back Souza is also on his way out, bound for Porto on loan until the end of the campaign.

Spurs are pushing to bring in another forward and remain in talks with Everton over Iliman Ndiaye. The Merseyside club, for their part, are working on a separate deal to bring Richarlison back to Goodison Park, two years after selling him to Tottenham.

Roberto De Zerbi laid the situation bare over the weekend, confirming that Richarlison, Sarr and Kevin Danso have all asked to leave.

“He said too many times that he wants to leave,” the Spurs head coach said of Richarlison. “Danso came to me two days ago, and he said he wants to leave, and Pape Sarr, the same, but he suffered a small injury, but he is almost ready to train.”

De Zerbi made it clear there will be no standing in the way of any player determined to move on – provided the club’s terms are met.

“I love these players, they are great guys, I have very good relationships, but if they want to leave, they have to bring the solution, the economic solution, to the club, and they can go, and we find other players.”

With Sarr heading to Turin, Moore to Germany and Souza to Portugal, and Richarlison and Danso agitating for exits, Tottenham’s deadline day now hinges on whether those “solutions” arrive in time – and who De Zerbi can bring through the door to replace them.
