Akliouche deal nears the finish line

The move for Akliouche is described as being in its “final stages,” with what’s termed a “three way desire to complete the deal quickly.” Club, player, and selling side are all aligned on getting it done. No drama, no circus, just a targeted push to secure a France youth international before his price explodes.
For PSG, it fits the new transfer logic. Strengthen without ripping up the hierarchy. Add a player who can develop within the existing structure instead of demanding it be rebuilt around him.
Tension on the flanks: Diomande and a homegrown chase
Not every wide option is moving closer to Paris, though.
Yan Diomande, another winger on their radar, is drifting away. RB Leipzig have intensified their efforts to tie him down to a new contract, and the momentum now appears to be with the Bundesliga club. What once looked like a possible opening for PSG is narrowing fast as Leipzig move to protect one of their emerging assets.
At the same time, PSG are fighting a battle of their own to keep a young jewel already in-house. One highly regarded PSG starlet is being courted by Manchester City and two German clubs, each trying to tempt him away with promises of minutes and a clear pathway.
Paris, for their part, want to keep him. That stance underlines another tension at the heart of their project: build around youth, but only if they can actually hold on to it.
