Premier League giants are already moving pieces for January, with young midfielders and emerging defenders at the centre of an increasingly frantic market.

At Old Trafford, Manchester United are keeping a close eye on closer-to-home talent. Jarrad Branthwaite’s performances for Everton have not gone unnoticed, with the 24-year-old England defender firmly on their radar as they weigh up defensive options.
Tottenham, meanwhile, are pushing to get ahead of the pack in Brazil. They are leading the race for 19-year-old Athletico Paranaense defender Arthur Dias, who is valued at 30m euros. Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest and Brentford are also monitoring him, but Spurs have moved early and with intent.
