Newcastle United Triumphs in Five-Goal EFL Cup Thriller
Newcastle United finally found some release after their Premier League frustration, grinding out a 3-2 win over West Brom in a lively EFL Cup second-round tie on Wednesday night.

How Jaissle could set up in North London
After the late heartbreak against Liverpool on the opening weekend, Jaissle may be tempted to adjust his side, but a full overhaul looks unlikely.
Lukas Hornicek is expected to keep his place in goal. In front of him, Amar Dedic should get another opportunity to build chemistry with Malick Thiaw, Sven Botman and Lewis Hall across the back line.
Midfield is where the intrigue lies. Gonzalez, now officially unveiled and ready, is in line for a debut. He could slot in alongside Academy product Lewis Miley, a pairing that would underline the blend of big spending and youth development shaping this new era.
Further forward, Anthony Elanga has earned another start after opening the scoring against Liverpool. He is likely to operate with Yoane Wissa and Barnes, whose cup brace has surely secured his spot, across a fluid attacking three.
