Michael Olise Faces Allegations of Abandoning Daughter
Michael Olise’s summer break has been hit by serious off-field allegations, with a German woman claiming the Bayern Munich and France star has failed to support or even meet a daughter he is said to have acknowledged as his own.
The woman, 34-year-old Fatima Zaunbrecher, has gone public on Instagram, alleging that Olise is the biological father of her two-and-a-half-year-old girl, named Aaliyah Noor Olise, and that he has left her to raise the child alone.
“He Completely Ignored It”
Zaunbrecher says she and Olise were in a relationship from 2022, lasting around two years before they split. Shortly after the separation, she discovered she was pregnant. A subsequent DNA test, she claims, confirmed Olise as the father.
According to her account, the winger has formally acknowledged paternity but has not built any relationship with the child and has not, of his own accord, contributed financially.
In a series of videos on her Instagram account, @fati.zahara, Zaunbrecher describes attempts to secure an interim support arrangement while a court process plays out. She says her former lawyer contacted Olise’s legal team with a proposal for €2,000 in child support as an initial payment.
“I pretty much said you can do it through my former lawyer, who wrote to his lawyer that he can start paying, and I also sent it to my bank account, and he didn't send anything,” she said in one clip.
“I gave him a chance, but my child's father is savage; he didn't take it, and he completely ignored it. His lawyers are very terrible persons.”
Zaunbrecher says that since then she has been working two jobs to cover the costs of raising Aaliyah on her own.

Her videos paint a picture of a sharp contrast between their lives. She alleges that while she juggles work and childcare, Olise is enjoying his off-season.
“I'm raising our child alone while her father is partying and inviting women and doing the most and is not paying any dime for his own daughter,” she said.
“Since that day, he hasn't paid anything, and he didn't call his daughter. But he said in the statement that he wanted to contact his daughter and me. That doesn't make any sense.”
Zaunbrecher insists her focus is on securing proper support for Aaliyah, not on controlling how Olise lives away from the pitch.
Star on the Pitch, Scrutiny Off It
Olise heads into the new campaign as one of European football’s most talked-about attacking talents. The 22-year-old helped France to a fourth-place finish at the 2026 World Cup, where he delivered a tournament-best seven assists and underlined his status as a creative force at the highest level.
He is currently on holiday after that demanding summer, with recent social media footage showing him relaxing in Turks and Caicos.
His World Cup also produced one of the more unusual tactical subplots: during France’s match against Morocco, Olise was unable to join in fully with the celebrations after a French goal. A little-known FIFA rule meant that if the French players had vacated their positions to celebrate, Morocco could have restarted the game immediately, leaving France exposed. So while teammates instinctively looked to celebrate, Olise had to stay switched on, rooted in position, thinking about the restart.
Now, away from the noise of stadiums and the glare of a global tournament, his name is back in headlines for very different reasons. As the new season approaches and Bayern prepare to lean on his talent, the questions no longer concern only what he can do with a ball at his feet, but what responsibility he will take off it.
