Endrick's Anticipated Return to Real Madrid in Champions League

Endrick is finally back in Real Madrid’s matchday plans – but only for a cameo.

The Brazilian forward, recovering from injury, could make his official return for the club in the 2026/27 Champions League when Real Madrid host Inter Milan on Tuesday (8), with kick-off at 4 p.m. The Bernabéu might only see him briefly, yet even a handful of minutes would mark an important step in his comeback.

The medical green light is still cautious, and so is the coach.

“He may be ready to play 5 minutes, 10 at most. He trained with the team for the first time yesterday and hasn't played since Budapest. He isn't fit for more (minutes),” the Real Madrid manager said, underlining just how long the forward has been out.

The plan is clear: no rush, no risks. But the excitement around his name hasn’t dimmed.

With a touch of irony, the coach opened up on where Endrick might fit into this star-studded side.

“He will play in attack. I guarantee he won't play at left-back or center-back. (He can play) on the right or the left, (as a) 9 or 10.”

That attacking sector is already stacked. In recent games, Real Madrid have lined up Jude Bellingham, Arda Güler, Vini Jr, and Kylian Mbappé together in the final third, a frontline built on flair, movement, and goals.
