Manchester United Pursues Tchouameni with Five-Year Offer
Manchester United have moved decisively in their pursuit of Aurelien Tchouameni, putting a five-year contract in front of the Real Madrid midfielder as they attempt to reshape the heart of their team.
According to Spanish outlet AS, via journalist Jose Felix Diaz, United have made what is described as a “very good” proposal to the 26-year-old and are aiming to secure agreement on personal terms before opening formal talks with Madrid.
This is not a tentative enquiry. It is a clear play for a cornerstone of their next midfield.
United’s midfield reset
United’s need is obvious. Casemiro is edging towards the exit and the club want a long-term anchor who can both protect and dictate. Tchouameni, already established at the top level and a serial winner in Spain, fits that brief as neatly as anyone on the market.
The vision is bold: Tchouameni alongside Kobbie Mainoo as the axis of a new era under Michael Carrick. Power, control, legs, intelligence. On paper, it changes the entire feel of United’s midfield.

There is, however, a major obstacle in the way: Real Madrid, and specifically Jose Mourinho.
