UND Women's Soccer Hosts Florida Atlantic for First Time

The road miles are banked, the California swing is done, and North Dakota is back on familiar ground.

After a 0-1-1 trip out west, the Fighting Hawks women’s soccer team returns to Bronson Field on Sunday for a noon kickoff against Florida Atlantic — a first-time meeting between the two programs and a rare September showcase in Grand Forks.

There’s no history between these sides. No previous scorelines to lean on. The series is tied at 0-0-0 because it simply hasn’t existed until now. That changes on Sunday, in what will also be UND’s only match of the week and the second-to-last fixture on the 2026 non-conference schedule.

It’s a clean slate, but not a quiet one.

Bronson Field hosts the “history-making” opener to this new matchup, with the matinee start giving UND a prime window to reset its form before diving back into the grind of the season. With just two non-conference games left, every minute now sharpens the edge for what comes next.

For those not in the stands, every home match is locked in on the Summit League Network through Midco Sports Plus, the subscription streaming hub that carries all Summit League digital content. UND fans can expect extensive coverage there, with more than 600 live events each year, including all Fighting Hawks home and road conference soccer games.

The digital touchline doesn’t stop at the stream. Live updates roll out on X via @UNDsoccer, with the program also active on Facebook and Instagram under the same handle. Match stories, statistics, and deeper coverage live at FightingHawks.com.

Sunday brings a fresh opponent, a new chapter, and a chance for North Dakota to turn a long road trip into a sharper, more battle-tested performance at home. The first entry in this series goes in the books at noon.
