PSV's Transfer Window Heats Up with Major Signings

The day started quietly in Eindhoven. It did not stay that way for long.

Filip Kostic arrived for his medical, the 33‑year‑old winger having been a free agent for a month since the end of his contract at Juventus. Experience, pedigree, European know-how – PSV are adding a very different kind of asset here, one that can shape a dressing room as much as a left flank.

The routine is well known in Eindhoven. Prospective signings pass through Anna TopSupport before any contract can be signed, the final hurdle before pen meets paper. With both Sano and Kostic seen entering the facility, Peter Bosz is on the brink of receiving exactly what he has been pushing for: two high‑impact additions for a VriendenLoterij Eredivisie title defence and a European campaign that demands depth.

This is not an isolated flurry, either. Earlier in the window, technical director Earnest Stewart had already underlined PSV’s intent by bringing Sven Mijnans from AZ to the Philips Stadion for €13 million, strengthening the midfield core.

Now, with Sano’s energy and Kostic’s proven quality about to join that mix, PSV’s squad is starting to look less like a work in progress and more like a side being armed for another serious run at silverware.
