Traditionally, hotels in Trabzon operate at high occupancy for only three or four months before business tails off. That pattern, Çelebi suggested, is exactly what local authorities want to break. With Salah now the face of Trabzonspor, tourism and business leaders are working on ways to stretch that busy window across all 12 months, using the heightened global attention around the club and the city.
