Liverpool Signs Natalia Ramos from CD Tenerife Femenino

Liverpool have moved again in the summer market, securing the signing of Spanish midfielder Natalia Ramos from CD Tenerife Femenino, subject to visa approval and international clearance.

The 27-year-old arrives as the sixth addition of a busy window for the Reds, joining on a permanent deal from the Liga F side where she quietly became a cornerstone. More than 200 appearances for Tenerife tell part of the story; last season alone she featured 30 times in Spain’s top flight, adding 10 goals and five assists from midfield. Those are the numbers of a player who doesn’t just keep the ball moving, but changes games.

Emotional Move

For Ramos, the move is as emotional as it is ambitious.

"I'm really, really happy," she said. "I'm very excited to achieve this new step in my life and I'm very grateful for this new opportunity.

"For me it was a very easy decision and I'm very, very happy, with a lot of feelings and emotions because I know who the club is, the respect [it has].

"I feel very happy and privileged to take this shirt and sign at the club."

Liverpool are not simply stockpiling numbers. Ramos brings pedigree. She has represented Spain at Under-17 and Under-19 level and was part of the squad that lifted the 2017 Women's European Under-19 Championship in Northern Ireland, a tournament that helped shape the core of Spain’s current golden generation.

Her arrival continues a clear pattern. Mao Itamura, Vivien Endemann, Sara Agrez, Mari Ward and Khiara Keating have all come through the door this summer, each adding a different layer to a squad being steadily, deliberately rebuilt.
