Juventus Pursues Kolo Muani and Sorloth for Attack Revamp

Juventus are tearing up their forward line and starting again. At the heart of the rebuild: a familiar face and a towering new spearhead.

Randal Kolo Muani, who lit up the second half of last season in Turin, is open to coming back. Multiple sources in Italy report that the Frenchman is ready to return to Juventus, and the club have kept a direct line open with Paris Saint-Germain while they also work on a deal for Alexander Sorloth.

Attack Torn Down, Attack Rebuilt

The need is brutal and simple. Dusan Vlahovic will walk away on a free when his contract expires on June 30. Lois Openda and Jonathan David, both signed with high expectations, failed to convince in their debut campaign in Turin. Their underwhelming returns have pushed the club towards a full reset, and the hierarchy are now prepared to listen to offers for both.

So Juventus have moved quickly. They are already in talks with Atletico Madrid for Sorloth and, crucially, have reached an agreement with the Norway international on personal terms. One pillar of the new attack is ready to fall into place.

But the story does not stop there. The Bianconeri want Kolo Muani back as well.

Kolo Muani, PSG and a Narrow Gap

According to Romeo Agresti of Sky Sport and Tuttosport, Juventus remain in negotiations with PSG over the French striker. The numbers are on the table. Tuttosport report that PSG are holding out for around €35 million. Juventus do not want to go beyond €30 million.

That gap, though, might not be a wall. With Kolo Muani under contract in Paris until June 2028 and clearly outside Luis Enrique’s plans, PSG are expected to be flexible on the formula. The Ligue 1 champions could accept a loan with an obligation to buy, tied to conditions that are almost guaranteed to be met.

For PSG, it is a clean exit from a player they are not planning around. For Juventus, it is a way to spread the cost of a forward they already know fits.

Proven in Black and White

Kolo Muani did not need long to make his case in Turin. In the second half of the 2024-25 season, he scored ten goals in 22 appearances for Juventus, giving their attack a directness and edge it had been missing. His movement in behind, his willingness to attack space, his ability to stretch defences – all of it slotted neatly into the Bianconeri’s structure.

That impact explains why the club are pushing to bring him back despite the financial squeeze and the absence of Champions League football in 2026-27. It also explains his stance. Reports indicate that Kolo Muani is eager to return to the Allianz Stadium, even though he would be giving up Europe’s top competition for at least a season.

He wants minutes. He wants responsibility. And he knows he will get both in Turin.

A New-Look Front Line

If Juventus manage to close both deals, the transformation will be stark. Vlahovic gone. Openda and David likely moved on. In their place, Sorloth’s physical presence and Kolo Muani’s fluid, restless movement.

It is a bold bet on a new partnership and a clear break with what did not work. Now the question is simple: can Juventus turn talks and tentative figures into signatures before the market erupts around them?
