Galatasaray Targets Bruno Fernandes with Competitive Wages

Galatasaray have stepped firmly into the Bruno Fernandes race, with insider Emre Kaplan revealing the Turkish champions are prepared to put the Manchester United captain on the very top shelf of their wage structure.

The Istanbul giants have identified the Portugal international as a priority target and are willing to back that ambition with serious money. The benchmark is clear: Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen is currently Galatasaray’s highest earner, and his pay packet is being used as the reference point for any offer to Fernandes. Matching that level would place the United playmaker among the best-paid footballers in Turkey.

“Galatasaray are prepared to offer Bruno Fernandes the same salary as Osimhen, who is presently the top earner in the squad,” he said. “They will also present whatever amount is necessary for the transfer fee. However, I believe that the reports circulating in the English media are being utilised in negotiations with United.”

The message is clear: if Manchester United open the door, Galatasaray will be standing there with a cheque book already in hand.

For now, Fernandes has yet to agree fresh terms at Old Trafford, and that uncertainty has encouraged Galatasaray to push harder. The club are in the middle of another squad-building drive, determined to add star power and experience to maintain their domestic dominance and make a deeper impression in Europe.

Whether United are willing to even entertain the idea of losing their captain is another matter entirely. But Galatasaray have made their move. The numbers, and their intent, are on the table.
