Crystal Palace Sign Anan Khalaili on Long-Term Deal

Crystal Palace have landed Israel international Anan Khalaili on a long-term deal running until 2031, underlining their intent ahead of a European season at Selhurst Park.

The Eagles are understood to have paid around £21m for the 21-year-old, a versatile option who can operate both at full-back and on the wing. He arrives from Union Saint-Gilloise, where he played a central role in a historic campaign.

Since joining the Belgian club in 2024, Khalaili helped Union Saint-Gilloise clinch their first Belgian Pro League title in 90 years and add a Belgian Cup to cap a landmark season. He did it on the continental stage too, scoring three of his six goals last term in the Champions League.

That European pedigree is exactly what Palace will lean on as they prepare for a Europa League campaign.

"I have followed the Premier League for a long time, it's a new challenge for me," Khalaili said. "And Crystal Palace I like, because I have followed them for a long time. They have deserved to win three trophies and I want to do more."

Khalaili becomes the fifth signing under Pierre Sage, another significant piece in a squad being quietly but decisively reshaped for the demands of domestic and European football.
