Joao Pedro arrived at Stamford Bridge from Brighton and Hove Albion in July 2025 and wasted no time making his presence felt on the biggest stage available. He scored in both the semi-final and the final of the FIFA Club World Cup, striking twice against his former club Fluminense to fire Chelsea into the showpiece, then finding the net again against Paris Saint-Germain to help secure the world title.
