Bradley Barcola Set for €140m Transfer to Liverpool

Bradley Barcola is closing in on a blockbuster move to Liverpool, with the Paris Saint-Germain winger expected to fly to England on Saturday to complete a transfer worth around €140m, according to L'Équipe.

The 23-year-old is due in Liverpool in the coming hours to finalise the last details of the deal and undergo his medical. If all goes to plan, he will then sign a five-year contract that would keep him at Anfield until 2031.

It brings an end to a drawn-out saga that has stretched over several weeks and dominated talk around his future. For the France international – 28 caps and six goals – it also closes the Paris chapter of his career, three years after he joined PSG from Olympique Lyonnais.

Barcola leaves having carved out a significant role in one of Europe’s most star-studded squads. Across 152 appearances for Les Rouge et Bleu, he scored 39 goals and delivered 37 assists, consistently influencing games in the final third.

His time in Paris has been drenched in silverware. The winger played a major part in winning 13 trophies with PSG, including two Champions League titles and three Ligue 1 crowns.

Now comes a different kind of pressure. A record fee, a five-year commitment, and a fanbase that expects instant impact – Liverpool are not bringing Barcola to England to ease his way in.
