Arsenal Secure Agreement with Liverpool's Rising Star Vincent Joseph
Arsenal have moved ahead of their Premier League rivals to land highly rated teenage striker Vincent Joseph from Liverpool, striking an agreement with the 16-year-old after he allowed his schoolboy terms at Anfield to run down.
The London club have reached an understanding with Joseph over a move, with negotiations now under way between Arsenal and Liverpool over a compensation package. If the clubs cannot settle on a figure, the fee will be set by a tribunal.

Promoted briefly to Liverpool’s U18s last season, he responded with three goals in his first two appearances at that level. On the international stage, he has hit eight goals in nine games for England U16s, while also remaining eligible to represent Germany.
Manchester United had been linked with a surprise move for Joseph in March, but Arsenal have now beaten them to the punch. According to The Athletic, the youngster chose not to sign a scholarship with Liverpool once his schoolboy contract expired, opening the door for Mikel Arteta’s side to pounce.
Arsenal have “reached an agreement” with Joseph, and talks between the clubs are focused on settling the compensation figure. If they fail to agree, the matter will go before the Professional Football Compensation Committee (PFCC).
That panel will weigh up a series of factors: Joseph’s age, his playing record, how long he spent at Liverpool, the status of both clubs and the contract terms each side put on the table. Only then will a final sum be set.

Elite No 9 hunt: Alvarez, Osimhen on the radar

Sources indicate Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United have all held internal conversations about whether to move for Osimhen, amid growing claims that his price has dropped to well below the £100m mark.
United have cooled their interest in the Nigeria international, which leaves Arsenal and Spurs in a stronger position if a formal race develops. That does not make any deal straightforward.
Osimhen would still require a major transfer fee, even with Galatasaray now more open to negotiating at a slightly reduced valuation. On top of that, the striker is expected to command significant wages to make the switch to the Premier League.
Arsenal, though, are clearly positioning themselves across the market. They are credited as the club most interested in a Barcelona player as well, underlining a dual-track strategy: stockpile the best young talent like Joseph, while hunting the finished article to lead the line in a season where the margins at the top are shrinking by the week.
