Anderson Talisca Leaves Fenerbahce for Al-Jazira

Anderson Talisca’s brief Fenerbahce chapter is over almost as quickly as it began – and his next destination is already mapped out.

The Turkish giants confirmed on X that they have mutually agreed to terminate the Brazilian’s contract, drawing a line under a stint that started only in the mid-season window of the 2024-25 campaign. No dispute, no public drama. Just a clean break.

“Anderson Talisca joined our team's ranks during the mid-season period of 2024-2025, and his contract has been terminated by mutual agreement between the two parties,” the club announced, before signing off with a polite farewell and best wishes for the next step in his career.

That next step lies in the Gulf.

According to Transfermarkt, citing well-known journalist Resat Can Ozbudak, Talisca has already shaken hands on a move to UAE side Al-Jazira. There, he is expected to reunite with a familiar face: compatriot Malcom, the former Al-Hilal forward, as Al-Jazira continue to assemble a front line built on Brazilian flair and big-game experience.

Ozbudak reports that Al-Jazira have lined up a two-year deal for the 30-year-old, with an option for a third season. The numbers underline how much they value him: Talisca is set to earn a total annual salary in excess of €10 million.

For now, the formalities stand between announcement and reality. Medical tests, signatures, the standard photos and pen-in-hand routine. Once those are completed, Talisca will swap Istanbul for Abu Dhabi and step into another high-paying, high-expectation role in the Gulf’s growing football landscape.
