Watford Signs Young Talent Iker Bravo from Udinese
Watford have moved to sharpen their attack with the signing of Spain Under-21 forward Iker Bravo from Udinese on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

From La Masia to Vicarage Road
Born and schooled in the game at Barcelona’s famed La Masia academy, Bravo left Spain as a teenager to join Bayer Leverkusen in 2021, a switch that underlined how highly he was rated across the continent. His development continued with a loan spell at Real Madrid B, where he learned to live with the weight of a heavyweight badge on his back.
In 2024 he moved to Udinese, breaking into Serie A and banking valuable senior minutes. He made 37 appearances for the Italian club last season, scoring three times, a return that only hints at the broader profile Watford believe they have secured: a mobile, technically sharp forward still growing into his frame and his game.
The real statement on his potential came in national colours. Bravo was named player of the tournament as Spain lifted the 2024 Uefa Under-19 Championship, a stage on which he looked entirely at ease and often a step ahead.
Watford’s bet on upside
Watford have not disclosed the fee, but the language from inside the club makes their intention clear.
“Iker is a promising young talent,” said group technical director Gian Luca Nani. “His development at Real Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen and with the Spanish national teams speaks for itself. We are confident he will be a valuable addition to the squad and bring new attacking options to the team.”
